Living a Jewish Life
Our students build a warm and friendly learning community over a year's worth of Tuesdays. During each LJL course, a group of students from many different walks of life find joy in their common interests and experiences. Students take LJL for many different reasons. Some born-Jews take LJL as a refresher course about Judaism. Many people take this course when they are considering conversion to Judaism. Often, students join this course as part of their preparation for conversion to Judaism. Many times are classes are filled with "interfaith" couples. We treasure the community we develop over the academic year in LJL classes.
All three of our rabbis participate in teaching the Living a Jewish Life Course. Rabbis Folberg, Lippe, and Olshein enjoy getting to know our students and learning with them. The Living a Jewish Life Course enriches our congregation attracting curious and enthusiastic individuals, couples, and families. We look forward to welcoming you to our community
