As fall approaches, Jews throughout the world prepare for a unique ten-day period called the High Holy Days or the Days of Awe (Yamim Noraim): Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur. The High Holy Days are a time for reflection, prayer, music, learning, repentance and re-connection. We welcome you to join us in celebrating and observing these special Holy days. We offer a variety of services to meet the spiritual needs of our diverse community. Please see the Schedule of Services for a list of dates, times, and locations of services.
These holidays are preceded by a month of reflection: the Hebrew month of Elul. During this time, morning worship includes special prayers and concludes with the blowing of the shofar as a reminder of the approaching season of atonement. In our community, this is also a time to visit the graves of loved ones.
Members of the congregation will automatically receive their High Holy Day tickets for each adult member of your household and dependent children over the age of 18 (Children 17 years old and under do not require a ticket).
We look forward to sharing a wonderful High Holy Days together!
