Del was born in El Paso, TX but has lived in Austin all of her adult life. She was introduced to Congregation Beth Israel through Saturday morning torah study and the connection deepened with regular attendance at Friday night services (front section, stage right). Del is also anchored to Austin by the presence of her son, Sebastian and her mom, Ellie Pelletier (a Circle of Friends volunteer). Her work with the Migrant Clinicians Network keeps on the road frequently but she is only an email or a cell phone call away no matter where she travels. In the last year, Del has enjoyed working at the Sisterhood gift shop. Del served as CBI Trustee in 2005-2006, Financial Secretary in 2006-2007, President Elect 2007-2009 and President 2009-2011.

Shelli Miller, Past President Representative  


Shelli Miller grew up in Houston, where her family was active at Congregation Emanu El, and has been a member of Congregation Beth Israel since 1991.  She is a former Ritual Committee Chair, Ritual Committee Vice President, Board Trustee, Treasurer, First Vice President, and President.  She currently serves as chair of the CBI Investment Committee.  Shelli is self-employed as a CPA and Certified Financial Planner, and holds three degrees from The University of Texas at Austin.  She is married to Michael Kline and they share their home with their dogs Curly and Henry and their cats Finley and Petey.  Shelli is also a licensed wildlife rehabilitator and volunteers with Austin Area Wildlife Rehab, and is a musician in Prime Directive, an Austin-based classic rock band.
