Welcome...

Thanks for your interest in joining Congregation Beth Israel. We hope that you will make us your Jewish communal and spiritual home. Our congregation has a rich history, and there are a number of exciting initiatives underway to help build a strong future.

All of us here at Congregation Beth Israel look forward to getting to know you. Please feel free to come to services or any congregational events. If you know in advance that you’re coming and would like a member of the congregation act as your host, we’ll be happy to arrange for someone to sit with you at services, introduce you to other members, and show you around.

Also contact us if you would like to meet with the clergy, learn more about our religious school or Child Development Center, or just be added to our email or mailing list.

Sincerely,

Steve Folberg

New Member Programs

To help new members meet fellow congregants and learn more about all that Congregation Beth Israel offers, a New Member Orientation program is held in the fall. We also have a New Member Ambassador program, which pairs new members with fellow congregants.

As you explore our website you'll be able to find information these programs and more.

Visitors are always welcome at services and congregational events. For a listing of current service times and programs, check out our calendar listings. You can also click here for a map and directions to CBI.

Membership Forms
We are so glad that you are considering joining Congregation Beth Israel. To support our congregation, we rely primarily on annual commitments made by our members. While no one is ever turned because of a lack of financial resources, we ask you to “give as G-d has blessed you.” The annual commitment includes many congregational services, such as religious and Hebrew school (except for books and out of town retreats); B’nei Mitzvah preparation; adult education; High Holiday tickets; life cycle events, discounted cemetery plots and clergy counseling. In addition to a membership demographic application, the following forms need to be filled out in order to complete your membership application.
