Getting Here & Moving Through Our Space
- Accessible parking is available in our small lot at the corner of Shoal Creek and 38th St.
- Our security team will warmly welcome you and assist with entry as needed.
- Our three-story Learning Center is fully accessible by elevator.
- Wheelchair accessible routes are available throughout the building.
- The bimah is equipped with wheelchair- and walker-accessible ramps, and stair railings are in place.
Worship & Participation
- Large-print prayer books, Mishkan T’Filah, are available.
- Braille editions of Mishkan T’filah are available upon request, please contact us in advance if needed.
- Worship services are displayed on screens, making it easier to follow along. They are conducted in Hebrew and English with translations.
- Digital prayer slides are available to access on personal devices.
- Assistive listening devices are available; a member of our clergy team will be happy to help.
- ASL interpretation can be arranged with advance notice. Please contact us as early as possible.
- Service animals are always welcome.
Sensory Supports
- Headphones and earplugs are available.
- Fidgets are available for those interested in tactile support.
Online Access
- Livestreamed services are available with closed captioning.
Restrooms
- All-gender restrooms are available on every floor.
- Restrooms include accessible stalls.
Food & Dietary Needs
- Gluten-free, nut-free, and dairy-free options are offered at communal meals.
Families & Children
- Children of all ages are welcome at all services. We embrace movement, giggles, and the joyful presence of families
- Our community celebrates participation in all its forms.
Religious School & Youth Programs
- Our Student Services Coordinator works closely with families to support each learner and ensure every student’s success. For more information, contact Carly at carly@bethisrael.org.
- For B’nai Mitzvahs, we meet each student where they are by creating individualized learning materials and empowering students to take an active role in their study.
The Zach Avner Inclusion Fund
- In a role made possible by CBI’s Zach Avner Inclusion Fund, our religious school Student Services Coordinator works with our families and teachers to support all learners on their Jewish journey.
- The fund also supports other layers of inclusion at CBI, such as the collection of fidgets, headphones, and ASL interpreters.
