Post Confirmation   -  Grades 11 & 12 

We meet 23 times a year during Religious School hours from 11:30am-12:30pm.

We catch up with each other and discuss or debate current events & topics from the Jewish perspective.

Each spring, there is an optional, alternating trip to Washington, D.C. to participate in the Religious Action Center's (RAC) social justice seminar, L'Taken or to New York City with a focus on Jewish immigration and life in America.

This trip is open to all registered and attending Post Confirmation students!

 

2025-2026: Post Confirmation Trip - Washington, DC

January 9-12, 2026

 

The optional Post-Confirmation trip this year is to the RAC's L'Taken Seminar with Rabbi Levy and Sarah Avner. L'Taken means to repair and the seminar is designed to both expose teens to a variety of public policy issues and explore the Jewish values that inform the Reform Movement's advocacy around these issues. One the last day, teens have the opportunity to lobby their representatives on issues of their choice.


There is a $100 deposit made at the time of Religious School registration. The total cost of the trip, including flights, food and all programming is ~$1000. Contact Carly for scholarship information.
